What a wonderful cottage - the facilitites and location were everyting you could wish for. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring but provides a quiet haven to return to. Had a lovely morning sea fishing on Sunday 21 June then enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch in the Castle Hotel. Visited Orkney on Monday 22 June, a long day - particularly for the driver - but well worth the effort, steeped in history, particularly impressed with the ancient settlement and the Italian Chapel. Strongly recommend a visit to Glen Affric, wonderful walking and not too far away. The Discovery Centre in Portmahomack gives a fascinating history lesson. The village has a well stocked shop and the local people made us feel very welcome. The weather was kind to us with hot sun and balmy breezes. The week was rounded off with a sumptious meal in the Oyster Catcher restaurant. Certainly looking forward to a return visit.

What a spectacular 2 weeks we have had at the beach house. Recommended by Liz and far exceeded expectations. Weather lovely and sunsets out of this world. House and location couldn't be bettered. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We would certainly like to return another year.

Just home after a fantastic week in the house with beautiful sunshine all week - what a bonus! We all had a lovely relaxing time and the location was perfect - our 3 year old was on the beach everyday building sandcastles and exploring rock pools and had great fun flying her kite at the lighthouse. Though we weren't lucky enough to see dolphins or otters from the house, we did see a huge number of different birds, 50+ different kinds around the local area. Highly recommend the house - it was perfect!
